About The Position

The Order Replenishment Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely replenishment of inventory to meet customer needs in alignment with demand and inventory plans and brand strategies. This role executes the purchasing strategy for purchase orders. The Analyst collaborates to ensure smooth product flow from vendor distribution centers (DCs) to ATD DCs. The role performs analysis on replenishment orders to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts, and serves as the primary point of contact for vendor customer service personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with transportation partners to ensure smooth product flow from ports to DCs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate order placement, receipt, and lead times.
  • Drive analysis required to produce special order supply recommendations.
  • Generate and prioritize replenishment orders based on supply and demand forecasts and replenishment parameters to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance order replenishment efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, replenishment orders, and supplier performance to support execution of plan.
  • Manage the purchase order lifecycle, proactively identifying and resolving vendor and operations issues.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track stock movements to optimize inventory turnover and minimize carrying costs.
  • Participate in vendor collaboration meetings to ensure supply chain targets are met and drive improvements.
  • Review system recommendations and open-to-buy targets to create and release purchase orders.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory replenishment and identify trends and opportunities for decision making and improvement.
