About The Position

The Order Puller position is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to repeatedly lift between 40 and 75 lbs throughout the day. While the job is not difficult to master, safe working and lifting practices are essential. Reliability with attendance expectations and a high school diploma or GED are required. This role is ideal for individuals seeking a starting point in their career, as no prior experience in paint or warehousing is necessary. Order Pullers are critical to the operation, filling orders using a scanner gun, manually lifting cases or buckets onto pallets, and delivering them to the loading department via a rider jack. The goal is to maintain a safe, timely, and accurate workflow to ensure the shipping department runs smoothly, drivers stay on schedule, and stores receive their paint orders promptly.

Requirements

Physically able to lift between 40 and 75 lbs, repeatedly, all day.
Reliable attendance.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work and lift safely at all times.
Ability to wear proper safety equipment, including steel-toed shoes at all times.
Ability to pull cases or buckets of paint and load them by hand onto pallets.
Ability to use a rider jack.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in paint or warehousing.

Responsibilities

Fill orders utilizing a scanner gun.
Manually lift cases or buckets onto pallets after scanning.
Use a rider jack to deliver pallets to the loading department.
Work in a safe, timely, and accurate manner.
Attend training, including safety training and other education, before pulling orders.
Participate in daily meetings and stretches at the beginning of each shift.
Wear proper safety equipment, including steel-toed shoes at all times.
Help maintain a clean facility.
