About The Position

HOH Water Technology is seeking a full-time Order Processor to support their order management operations. This role involves accurate and timely order entry, proactive customer communication, and seamless coordination between customers and the field team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of orders in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days a week in the Palatine, IL office and allowing for remote work for the remaining 2 days.

  • A distraction-free work from home space if utilizing remote work options.
  • Must pass a drug screening and relevant background checks.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Process and enter a high volume of customer orders (250+ per week) in the ERP system, ensuring accuracy across all fields including pricing, shipping details, account information, and special instructions.
  • Receive and manage incoming orders via phone and email, verifying all required information is complete before entry.
  • Manage Purchase Orders from key clients and audit pricing to ensure accurate flow-through to invoicing.
  • Check inventory levels across warehouses to determine appropriate warehouse selection for each order.
  • Maintain and update customer pricing and account files in the database as requested.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, answering product questions, communicating on unfulfilled or incorrect orders, and providing pricing information as needed.
  • Support and train field staff on proper order submission processes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain proactive communication with the field team regarding order status and deliveries.
  • Provide secondary phone coverage, stepping in to answer inbound calls when needed.
  • Coordinate with purchasing on drop ship orders as needed.
  • Provide general administrative and backup support to the Finance team, including assisting with purchase orders, delivery acknowledgements, help desk tickets, and ad hoc projects as needed.
