About The Position

Play a key role in helping patients access life-changing diabetes care As a Diabetes Processing Specialist, you’ll be a critical member of our sales support team, ensuring orders move forward quickly and accurately. You’ll use your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and people-first approach to support document collection, navigate insurance requirements, and build strong relationships with physician offices. In this highly collaborative, fast-paced role, you’ll partner with distributors, field sales, and inside sales teams to meet sales goals, drive revenue, and ensure clean claims processing. Your work directly supports timely access to therapy—making a meaningful impact for people living with diabetes every day.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of customer service or sales experience

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience in a call center or sales environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across regional, district, and territory teams
  • Ability to work with speed and precision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Prior experience in the medical / healthcare field

Responsibilities

  • Partner with inside and field sales teams to support end-to-end order processing
  • Submit documentation to physician offices and insurance providers
  • Review physician charts and labs to support insurance approvals
  • Follow up on pending prescriptions, chart notes, labs, and prior authorizations
  • Communicate with physician offices via phone, fax, and email to resolve documentation gaps or appeal rejected submissions
  • Advocate for patients by building strong relationships with physician offices and insurance companies
  • Coordinate with national distributors to support claims processing
  • Deliver a minimum of 10 outbound phone calls per day
  • Maintain clear written and verbal communication with internal teams
