About The Position

The Order Processing Analyst analyzes orders accurately and quickly to support same-day processing and meet service level agreements. The role verifies pricing, reviews contracts, obtains manufacturing criteria, and assigns codes to orders and items for daily and monthly reporting. It involves regular interaction with Sales Representatives, Inside Sales Engineers, and other company departments.

The analyst reviews order pricing, discounts, commissions, quotes, and customer contracts; assigns product and business codes and lead times; and identifies orders to be manufactured by an affiliate. The role ensures orders contain the information needed for correct entry and manufacturing, prepares required documentation, compares approval drawing specifications with Q2O order reports, and coordinates order criteria with relevant teams. Additional duties may include entering new or changed orders, processing back orders, sending Certified and Approval drawings, and filing.

Requirements

• Associate degree required.
• Aptitude in English and Math.
• Company- and team-oriented.
• Strong analytical skills, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Analyze pricing, discounts, commissions, quotes, and customer contracts for each order or item.
• Assign product codes, business codes, and lead times, and identify whether products will be manufactured by an affiliate.
• Edit orders to ensure all information needed for correct entry is present.
• Verify information needed to process orders for Manufacturing and complete Buck Slips, Pull Drawing Requests, and Stream Sheets as needed.
• Compare Approval Drawing specifications against Q2O order reports.
• Coordinate with Sales Representatives, Correspondents, Accounting, Engineering, and Manufacturing on criteria needed to process or modify orders.
• Assist with entering new orders and change orders, processing back orders, sending Certified and Approval drawings, and filing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
