About The Position

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is seeking an Order Picker for their facility in Nisku. This role involves designing, engineering, and manufacturing hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. The position operates on a Monday to Thursday night shift from 6:15 PM to 5:45 AM. The Order Picker will be responsible for various warehouse duties including picking and placing materials, staging orders, data entry for record keeping, and loading/unloading products. This role also requires checking received orders and ensuring all inventory transactions are accurately documented.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing: Good spoken English and ability to communicate well and understand teammates and supervisors is a must for performance and safety.
Time management skills.
Must be able to carry and move equipment and/or supplies in excess of 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or equipment.
Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant (manually or with equipment).
Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and meet a visual quality inspection and report any discrepancies to the fabrication area.
May perform other activities such as assisting in taking inventory and weighing/checking materials.
Pick orders and prepare for shipping, including: stacking, wrapping, and crating products.
Pick material from warehouse for outbound orders, and ensure they are high quality materials being shipped.
Put away received materials to proper storage locations.
Confirm inventory transactions are complete.
Participate in clean-up of yard and facility.
Perform all duties in accordance with silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code.
Perform other duties as assigned.
