About The Position

Responsible for assembling product for individual orders and loading them onto trailers for shipment. This role requires training on 1st shift for three weeks.

Requirements

Ability to operate a high lift/forklift in a safe manner.
Must be able to demonstrate safe work practices.
Must pass certification to operate a high lift/forklift.
Must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.
Ability to work in an environment of 28 degrees.
Ability to operate a scan gun.
Ability to operate the Shop Floor system.
Ability to operate automatic wrapping machines.
Understanding of the logistics of loading a trailer.

Responsibilities

Receive load packets with pick tickets from the load coordinator.
Hand out pick tickets to pickers.
Use the Shop Floor system to locate product.
Use a forklift/high-lift to pick product, ensuring proper age dates are used.
Scan the picked product to the order.
Wrap each pallet using an automated wrap machine.
Fill out proper paperwork, including tally sheets, seal tags, and pallet reports (Costco).
Load assigned trailers in order of shipment stops and to meet weight requirements.
Work in a safe manner.
Follow Food Safety Guidelines.
Follow Housekeeping Procedures.
