Order Picker- Day Shift
About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Picker to join our high-performing 1300 department. This role is well-suited for individuals with forklift and/or warehouse experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced team environment. You will use a standing forklift to pick and stage cabinet parts for assembly, following pick instructions provided on a handheld device. This position requires a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork to ensure materials are delivered correctly and production stays on schedule. In addition to forklift operation, you will assist with inventory, material organization, and general department support.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a picking, warehouse, or manufacturing role is a plus.
- A strong commitment to safety, along with a solid work ethic and eagerness to learn, is what matters most.
- Comfortable operating standing forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
- Comfortable using digital tools, including scanners and tablets, to accurately pick and track materials.
- Strong attention to detail with a safety-focused, team-first mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities
- Follow pick instructions on a tablet to accurately select materials from designated bays.
- Safely operate a standing forklift to pick and transport cabinet parts throughout the facility.
- Deliver picked parts to the assembly team to support smooth and efficient production flow.
- Safely load picked parts into the cart attached to your forklift, ensuring materials are secure and handled with care.
- Maintain accuracy while meeting daily and weekly picking goals.
- Maintain your equipment and work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory tracking, material organization, and staging of parts.
- Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value team members who think critically and take ownership.
