About The Position

The Warehouse Order Picker plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment. This position involves selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

Ability to lift heavy items and work on feet for extended periods.
Attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
Experience with warehouse equipment (forklifts, RF scanners, etc.).
Basic math and reading skills for inventory tracking.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain Team Pick Rate of 5000 cases per day
Pull items accurately
Verify item number on case
Verify Bin Locations
Alternate stock when necessary
Maintain a 98% fill rate per order
Verify Item numbers on case for food items
Verify descriptions match item for food items
Pull by batch and expiry date according to allocated stock on pick list for food items
Alternate stock when necessary for food items
Maintain Inventory integrity
Record and report any inventory discrepancies
Return all over picked and/or incorrectly picked merchandise to correct location
Report any damaged inventory located in any pick locations
Ensure battery is watered adequately once a week
Ensure battery is properly charged when needed
Keep Equipment Clean
Wipe down any dust once a week
Report any issues with equipment
Ensure all plastic wrap is picked up off the floor and extra hanging plastic is cut and removed from pallets
All empty cardboard boxes are taken to bailer
All broken wood from pallets is thrown away in trash bins
Ensure Restrooms and Breakroom remain clean
Ensure all trashed is properly disposed of
Ensure no food left on counter overnight
Ensure all disposable coffee cups and soda cans are thrown away
Perform additional tasks as needed
