About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager/Supervisor/Lead Person, the Order Picker is responsible for picking and scanning finished goods items for orders. Also responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect. The work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals, and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish, and shellfish). The ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours, is required. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
1+ year experience in a warehouse environment.
Flexibility for overtime when needed.
Must be able to read/write English.
Ability to work autonomously and use resources available to complete tasks timely.
Must comply with GMP requirements; specific functions and documents will be discussed in GMP and on the job training.
Must be able to lift 50lbs.
Ability to work in a physically challenging environment, including bending, twisting, and standing for up to 8 hours.
Must be able to successfully clear drug screening processes, which include testing for all illegal substances per Federal Guidelines.

Responsibilities

Picking and scanning finished goods items for orders.
Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
Other duties as assigned.
Ensuring correct products are being scanned/picked for orders.
Helping restock pick locations when needed.
Responsible for housekeeping in pick area.
Participating in training of new order pickers.
Ensuring Tablet and Scanner are returned to charge area at the end of the day.
Ensuring safety regulations are followed in warehouse.
Complying with company policies and procedures and maintaining regular work attendance.
