About The Position

Order Picker Ideal Candidate Profile
QTS is currently seeking an energetic, responsive and well-organized full time Order Picker. This position will be responsible for pulling sales orders and requests from the QTS Shakopee warehouse and stages them to be delivered to the QTS Bloomington Facility. The hours for this position will be 7:30am - 4pm and will be working out of our Shakopee warehouse location.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, understand, speak and write in English.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of FIFO, traceability, etc.
• Forklift certified (or willingness to become certified).
• Ability to follow directions.
• Research and problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one year of materials handling and inventory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pull sales orders, shipping requests, engineering requests, and production requests.
• Perform inventory returns from portable bins to warehouse bins.
• Process inventory requests.
• Maintain work area in a neat, clean, organized, and secure condition.
• Responsible for maintaining an awareness of workplace safety and relevant training.
• Follow warehouse cleaning schedule.
• Cross-train within other areas of the warehouse.
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance.
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
