About The Position

The Order Picker ensures that orders are prepared and shipped without errors, efficiently and in a timely manner for our customers. This role involves picking merchandise, adhering to health and safety standards, and performing other related duties as requested by the immediate superior, in accordance with internal procedures and rules.

Requirements

• High school diploma or vocational training.
• Minimum of one year experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French is essential.
• Having work boots would be essential.
• Forklift operator credentials.
• Being able to do repetitive tasks.
• Able to work in an environment where the temperature varies.
• To have good physical endurance, being able to regularly move goods that are 60 lbs. and over.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of English may be required depending on the needs of the position.

Responsibilities

• Pick merchandise (90%): Take order sheets and go to correct bin locations to recover the right number of products. Drive an order picker lift truck to access bin locations in the warehouse. Place items on the conveyor. Collect accessory boxes prepared by the storekeeper and ensure they are placed with the correct orders.
• Health & Safety (5%): Be compliant with standards and business procedures, and enforce health and safety laws. Ensure work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.
• Other (5%): Participate in the annual inventory. Complete various reports.
