About The Position

The Order Picker pulls customer orders to the delivery platform, ensuring the correct products are delivered on time and without damage. The role is responsible for order completeness and accuracy and for meeting company standards for safety, security, and output. Products include durable medical goods such as canes, wheelchairs, in-home hospital beds, and respiratory products. The position supports team performance in safety, quality, service, and people-related metrics. The role works in a warehouse environment and reports to the Distribution Supervisor. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with overtime as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math skills.
Basic computer skills, including PC, MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel), and RF scanners.
Ability to use material movement equipment such as cherry pickers and pallet jacks.
SAP or Warehouse Management System experience.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, reach above shoulders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Pull orders according to the RF scanner and recheck them for accuracy.
Address misprints, false quantities, and closed-carton orders.
Inspect items for quality and quantity and for evidence of dust, paint, or dents.
Report products that do not meet quality standards to the floor supervisor.
Properly palletize picked items from the storage area.
Wrap or box items according to instructions and ensure remaining product in the bin is effectively wrapped.
Remove old or unnecessary stickers from boxes and discard them properly.
Support and participate in an environment of continuous improvement.
Comply with safety norms, including maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
