About The Position

Silent-Aire Limited Partnership, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is seeking an Order Picker for their facility in Nisku. This technology-driven company specializes in hyperscale cooling and modular data center solutions. The role involves a variety of warehouse and plant duties, including picking and placing materials, staging orders, data entry, and loading/unloading products. The Picker will ensure accurate inventory transactions and documentation.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment including forklift truck.
Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures.
Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing: Good spoken English and ability to communicate well and understand teammates and supervisors is a must for performance and safety.
Time management skills.

Responsibilities

Pick and place materials orders.
Stage materials.
Enter data into spreadsheets for record keeping.
Load, unload, and move products and materials to designated locations in the warehouse and plant.
Check received orders and confirm that all inventory transactions are completed and documented.
Sort and package fabricated parts onto a cart according to the subassembly list and deliver to point of use in the plant.
Check to ensure subassembly counts are correct and meet a visual quality inspection and report any discrepancies.
Assist in taking inventory and weighing/checking materials.
Pick orders and prepare for shipping, including stacking, wrapping, and crating products.
Pick material from warehouse for outbound orders, ensuring high quality.
Put away received materials to proper storage locations.
Confirm inventory transactions are complete.
Participate in clean-up of yard and facility.
Perform all duties in accordance with Silent-Aire Limited Partnership safety program standards and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code.
Perform other duties as assigned.
