About The Position

We are seeking an Order Picker that has strengths in using an RF Scanner, and the ability to pick orders for customers in a timely manner. Requirements

1-year warehouse experience.
Must be able to operate a standard and stand-up forklift
Required to be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead
Must be able to work under deadline pressure as organizational skills are the key to finding and providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders
Experience using a handheld scanner
Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills.

Nice To Haves

High School or GED
Customer Service skills a plus

Responsibilities

Promote a positive working environment based on team dynamics, mutual respect, and adherence to the organization’s stated principles and values
Pick customer orders, of all types, accurately, and in a timely manner
Determine if orders can ship via the manner indicated on the picking ticket and take the necessary actions to resolve incompatible shipping methods
Provide picked orders to the shipping team / will call support for outbound processing
Demonstrate and apply analytic problem-solving skills to resolve day-to-day inventory issues that impact order-picking processes
Participate in daily cleaning and upkeep of the facility
Displays strong work ethic and honesty and adheres to all company policies and procedures
Engages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail-oriented
Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations
