About The Position

The Order Picker/Packer is responsible for accurately picking and packing orders according to specific instructions and company goals. This role involves ensuring inventory accuracy, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean work environment. The position requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift significant weight.

Requirements

Warehouse pick/pack experience.
Must be able to use a tape gun, tape up cartons/bags, and RF scan gun.
Teamwork and Cooperation.
Must be reliable/dependable and have excellent attendance.
Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. on a continual basis.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pack orders according to Working Order or by the queue system.
Read and follow special instructions to pick and pack orders.
Double check product to ensure inventory and item picked are accurate based on the working order.
Communicate, work, and report to Team Leader regarding out of stock items or substitutions before packing product.
Report product without packaging in the storage area to the team leader.
Report to the team leader if the product is found in the wrong area.
Prioritize work and finish daily shipping goals according to company shipping goals.
Match the working order and invoice, ensuring the carton label or UPS and FEDEX label match.
Prepare orders for shipping, including placing the shipping label on the correct shipment.
Stack cartons on pallets and wrap them in time for loading.
Move pallets to a special area if shipment is not shipping out on the same day.
Help maintain a clean work area.
Train new order pickers.
