About The Position

This role involves picking and packing orders accurately according to specific instructions and company goals. Responsibilities include ensuring inventory accuracy, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean work environment. The position also requires training new team members.

Requirements

Warehouse pick/pack experience.
Must be able to use a tape gun, tape up cartons/bags, and an RF scan gun.
Teamwork and Cooperation.
Must be reliable/dependable and have excellent attendance.
Must be able to lift 40+ lbs. on a continual basis.
Basic computer knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pack orders according to Working Order or by the queue system.
Read & follow special instructions to pick and pack orders.
Double check product to ensure inventory and item picked are accurate based on the working order.
Communicate with Team Leader regarding out of stock items or substitutions before packing product.
Report to Team Leader if product is found without packaging in the storage area.
Report to Team Leader if product is found in the wrong area.
Prioritize work and finish daily shipping goals according to company shipping goals.
Match the working order and invoice, ensuring carton labels or UPS and FEDEX labels match.
Prepare order for shipping, including placing the correct shipping label on the shipment.
Stack cartons on pallets and wrap them in time for loading.
Move pallets to a special area if shipment is not shipping out on the same day.
Help maintain a clean work area.
Train new order pickers.
