About The Position

Sid Harvey’s is seeking an experienced Order Picker Machine Operator to select outbound orders and receive and put away products. The role contributes at the self level and supports the company’s warehousing and organization operations. Sid Harvey’s is a national wholesale distributor serving HVAC/R trades, with 80 branch locations, a central distribution center, and a manufacturing plant across 20 states.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating an order picker (cherry picker) machine.
• High school education or equivalent.
• One to two years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Previous RF scanning experience.
• Documentation skills.
• Equipment maintenance skills.
• Dependability, initiative, ability to handle pressure, coordination, organization, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Select and stage outbound customer orders.
• Put away received goods.
• Monitor inventory and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a safe work environment by watching for foot traffic, following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
• Keep the order picker machine operating by following operating instructions and performing daily inspections.
• Complete related tasks as needed to support warehousing and organization.
