About The Position

The Order Management Lead is a critical role on Brady’s warehouse logistics team, supporting high volume and fast paced warehouse operations. In addition to managing order processing and scheduling, the lead oversees dock operations and is responsible for accurate picking, staging and auditing of orders. Concentrates on early-stage order fulfillment workflows, ensuring swift dispatch preparation, monitoring service benchmarks, and pre-emptively addressing operational hurdles.

  • Experience in managing order processing and scheduling.
  • Experience overseeing dock operations.
  • Experience with accurate picking, staging, and auditing of orders.
  • Experience with early-stage order fulfillment workflows.
  • Experience ensuring swift dispatch preparation.
  • Experience monitoring service benchmarks.
  • Experience pre-emptively addressing operational hurdles.
  • Experience with queue management (printing, batching, processing orders).
  • Experience coordinating with shipping offices for order preparation.
  • Experience leading and directing dock workers, forklift operators, and material handlers.
  • Experience investigating and resolving operational discrepancies (missing pallets, late orders, carrier issues).
  • Experience staging and fulfilling international orders.
  • Experience tracking, logging, and reporting on On-Time Delivery Performance.
  • Experience communicating potential delays to management.
  • Ability to assume delegation of authority in the absence of a Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all system orders are accurately printed, batched, and processed overnight and consistently throughout the day.
  • Coordinate with the shipping office for orders ready to be picked, labeled, and audited.
  • Lead and direct the daily workflow of dock workers, forklift operators, and material handlers.
  • Research and resolve operational discrepancies, including missing pallets, late orders, or systemic carrier issues.
  • Stage and fulfill international order until complete.
  • Monitor, log, and report on On-Time Delivery Performance, communicating potential delays directly to management.
  • Assume delegation of authority when the Warehouse Manager is out of office.
