Order Fulfillment Technician
About The Position
The Order Fulfillment Technician is responsible for the final stage of the product life cycle in a manufacturing facility. The role focuses on pulling sales orders and preparing them for delivery, verifying product type and quantity, checking compliant labeling, and electronically tracking product through the state traceability system to comply with state laws and program regulations. The technician also supports other departments and helps maintain a positive, adaptable, quality-focused work environment. Work involves daily exposure to allergens, including cannabis, tree nuts, and coconut oil.
Requirements
- High school education or GED.
- 1–2 years of experience in warehousing and inventory.
- Consistently demonstrate attention to detail.
- Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Use initiative and independent judgment appropriately while keeping management expectations in mind.
- Perform a monotonous task efficiently over 8-hour work periods without losing quality.
- Pass all required background checks.
- Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Receive approval from the D.O.A. to obtain an Agent badge.
Nice To Haves
- Some college or college graduation preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience processing medical cannabis or other botanicals preferred.
- Previous cannabis experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Work with off-site sales partners to receive orders.
- Pull sales orders and prepare them for delivery, labeling products in accordance with DoA rules and regulations.
- Create and manage Excel spreadsheets.
- Track product through the state traceability program.
- Clean work areas and equipment at the end of each day.
- Assist other departments as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
- Use independent judgment in product processing while keeping quality and goals in mind.
- Help create a positive environment through a positive attitude and self-motivation.
- Research, evaluate, and adapt to new methods to meet or exceed goals, and modify techniques or procedures based on applicable laws.
- Learn new products and communicate with direct supervisors as necessary.
