Order Fulfillment Associate
About The Position
BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking an Order Fulfillment Associate to perform general warehouse activities. This role involves pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving it to a staging area, and using a handheld scanner to verify counts and update locations. The associate will also operate equipment and be involved in digital initiatives such as BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club. Requirements
- Previous order pulling experience preferred.
- Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
- Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Pull merchandise from a pick list using a handheld scanner device (RF).
- Verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations using the RF device.
- Move merchandise from the sales floor to the staging area.
- Operate equipment as needed.
- Process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner.
- Communicate inventory and/or equipment problems, including expired or short-dated items.
- Communicate with the club team when merchandise needs to be replenished.
- Work with the team to pull merchandise from the reserve area to avoid sales floor replenishment.
- Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements.
- Work with a high level of urgency to ensure deadlines and key performance indicators are met.
- Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards, adhering to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
- Take responsibility for individual performance and work with club leadership on metrics.
- Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Ensure the SFC area is neat, clean, and organized.
- Perform general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard.
- Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
- Process returns to the club and determine how to handle them.
- Maintain all club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
- Meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Ensure regular, predictable, full attendance.
