About The Position

Responsible for assembling and packaging items for customer orders. This role involves accurately pulling notions and non-yardage items, verifying correct items, packaging materials for same-day shipment, unloading inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining packaging supplies. The position also requires general housekeeping to ensure a safe workplace and other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test.
• Reading and comprehending customer orders, policies and procedures
• Acute attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with basic computer applications
• Basic math (division, addition, subtraction) to calculate yardage and order amounts

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull notions and non-yardage items as required to fill orders
• Verify correct items were pulled for each order
• Package materials for same-day shipment
• Unload inventory and stock shelves as new inventory arrives
• Re-stock packaging supplies such as bag, boxes, tape, scissors etc.
• Maintain neat and orderly work areas
• General housekeeping as required to maintain a safe workplace
• Other responsibilities as assigned
