About The Position

To pull items efficiently and accurately according to customer order. This role involves using voice picking and RF scanning equipment, adhering to safety rules including handling hazardous materials, and maintaining accuracy and speed in repetitive tasks. Basic computer navigation is also required.

Requirements

Functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing product numbers and line codes to ensure proper retrieval of products for shipment, including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to write legibly.
Ability to successfully communicate with the voice picking system, adapting to its commands and ensuring the system can understand your input.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Heavy equipment (Forklift / Order Selector) experience required.
Certification for forklift use is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, or order pickers is preferred.

Responsibilities

Pull all orders for the customer according to the prescribed picking quota as set by management.
Identify the proper product and quantity from the shelf, pull the product, and transport it to the checking station.
Perform basic navigation on the computer.
Utilize voice picking and RF scanning equipment.
Adhere to the Stockroom Housekeeping Policy of the facility and specific product line area.
Ensure accuracy in repetitive routine while maintaining good speed.
Follow and adhere to all safety rules, including the handling of hazardous materials.
Operate heavy equipment such as Forklift / Order Selector.
