About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Order Filler Picker to play a part in one of the world’s most essential industries. This role is crucial for efficiently picking customer orders or shipments, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped. The position involves loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials for 80% of the specified shift. It also requires pulling and preparing product for shipment, keeping appropriate records for inventory accuracy, and complying with all OSHA and MSDS standards. The role also involves verifying load accuracy, checking load count, stability, and product damage, and reporting variances. There is an opportunity for cross-training in many warehouse functions. The position is a combination of equipment operator (30-90% depending on production peak times) and will also require the employee to perform material handling, case picking, and loading/unloading duties. The ideal candidate will also possess skills and/or experience in Production, Manufacturing, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handler, Case Picking, Loader / Unloader, Equipment Operator, Reach truck, and Dock Stocker. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
  • 0 to 12 months experience in a warehouse setting, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently pick customer orders or shipment insuring the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials 80% of specified shift.
  • Pull and prepare the product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of product is loaded.
  • Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
  • Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.
  • Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary.
  • Ability to cross train on many functions of the warehouse.
  • Replenish or pick product with direction from pick sheets or hand held computer.
  • Obtains merchandise from bins or shelves to fill the order.
  • Accurately count product inventory by location.
  • Transport orders to shipping locations utilizing non-powered material handling equipment.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, orderly, and safe work area.
