About The Position

The Order Filler/Associate/Fulfillment employee pulls customer orders accurately and efficiently according to management's prescribed picking quota. The role involves locating products on shelves, identifying the correct product and quantity, pulling items, and transporting them to the checking station. The employee uses basic computer navigation, voice-picking and RF-scanning equipment, and follows stockroom housekeeping policies and safety rules, including procedures for handling hazardous materials. Accuracy in repetitive work is important while maintaining speed.

The role requires operational access to PkMS (Menu DCAMENU50) and the vPack Voice Picking System. Occasional forklift use requires certification. The work environment is loud, and employees are occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.

Requirements

• Be functionally literate and able to recognize product numbers and line codes, including accurately and rapidly identifying sequences of letters and numbers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions and write legibly.
• Communicate successfully with the voice-picking system, adapting to its commands and adjusting speech so the system can understand input.
• Add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds.
• Apply common-sense understanding to simple one- or two-step instructions and handle standardized situations with few or no variables.
• High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to perform the essential duties satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
• Forklift certification is required for occasional forklift use.
• Regularly stand, walk, handle or feel items, reach, talk, and hear; frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally climb or balance.
• Frequently lift up to 60 pounds and move products weighing more than 1,000 pounds using moving aids.
• Have close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Have operational access to PkMS (Menu DCAMENU50) and the vPack Voice Picking System.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer orders according to the picking quota prescribed by management.

• Use a forklift occasionally; required certification applies.
