About The Position

The Order Entry Specialist plays a crucial role in processing orders, solving problems, and responding to inquiries about order status. This position involves supporting high-spend customers with large volume orders and managing salesforce cases and credits. The specialist will ensure accurate entry and management of customer orders, resolve inquiries, and maintain a seamless order lifecycle. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of order management experience
  • Experience with Salesforce (must-have)
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, structured environment
  • Proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

  • Accurately and efficiently enter customer orders into the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics AX), seeking clarification from customers, sales, finance, and other departments when necessary.
  • Manage the complete order cycle, ensuring customer satisfaction from order entry through delivery and resolution of issues.
  • Process cases, inquiries, credits, and complaints from Salesforce queues.
  • Create and document complaints in Salesforce, determine root causes, and process Credit/Rebill or Credit/Reship RMAs as required.
  • Provide non-technical product and pricing information.
