About The Position

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering and maintaining customer orders within SAP and other business systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring order accuracy, timely processing, and a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system.
Minimum of two (2) years of data entry experience.
Previous experience in customer service, order management, or administrative support.

Responsibilities

Accurately enter customer orders into SAP and related systems.
Review order information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company requirements.
Verify product, pricing, shipping, and customer information before order release.
Identify and correct data entry errors to minimize order issues and delays.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to orders.
Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve order discrepancies.
Monitor order status and provide updates as needed.
Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure data integrity.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to order processing.
