About The Position

JOB TITLE: Order Entry Representative LOCATION: Houston, TX POSITION REPORTS TO: Order Entry Manager SCHEDULE: 4/10 6:30am-5:30pm, some overtime may be required COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and skills

Requirements

Local’s only (must live within 60 miles)
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
Minimum one year's experience in a high-volume data entry and customer service environment
Minimum one-year recent phone experience in a corporate environment communicating with customers
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Word programs
Must be able to type minimum of 30 WPM
Must be motivated, able to communicate effectively with co-workers and management and work well in a team environment
Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines
Adept at problem solving
Professional appearance and demeanor
Stable employment history
Must be able to pass background screening
Clear concise written and verbal communication skills, must be able to accurately repeat information back to the customer
Flexible with change
Willingness to accept constructive criticism and learn
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities while maintaining a positive demeanor

Nice To Haves

SAP experience
Experience in the fuel or transportation industry preferred
Customer Service phone experience

Responsibilities

Create and enter sales orders for fuel, tanks, services and special projects with accuracy and detailed notes
Receive telephone calls and handle caller inquiries in a professional manner
Coordinate customer deliveries with other terminals
Communicate with sales representatives and dispatchers regarding customer needs
Other related tasks as assigned by manager
