Order Entry Pharmacy Technician
About The Position
AuBurn Long Term Care Pharmacy has an opening for a dedicated professional to join our team. Located in Excelsior Springs, MO, our closed-door pharmacy serves local nursing homes, group homes and other similar facilities. We have an immediate need for an experienced Full-Time Order Entry Pharmacy Technician. This position will be Full Time up to 40 hours/week. This position requires reviewing and entering prescription orders from a variety of sources, answering and triaging phone calls, refilling prescriptions and working with pharmacy staff to provide timely and accurate medication delivery. Our patients reside in long-term care and assisted living communities and there is little direct patient communication. Data entry is a dynamic work environment that requires focus and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Must be licensed with the Missouri Board of Pharmacy with an active Pharmacy Technician license.
Nice To Haves
- Several years of experience is preferred.
