About The Position

Responsible for pulling orders based in pick ticket to accurately build orders for loading onto delivery trucks. The Chesterman Company is an independent Coca-Cola Bottler with its corporate office in Sioux City, Iowa. They have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Requirements

• High-School Diploma/GED
• 0-1 year of general work experience
• Experience working with minimal supervision
• Constant bending, kneeling, pulling, and/or lifting of 50+ pounds and climbing
• Communication Skills
• Dexterity Skills
• Ability to operate a manual / powered pallet jack or lift product
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers and to operate equipment

Responsibilities

• Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment.
• Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices and safety standards.
• Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
• Stage completed pallets in designated area.
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
