Perform the daily set up and operation of the processing equipment (drill, shear, plasma, ironworker, etc.) Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 (plus $1.00 shift differential). Requirements

Ability to set up and operate processing equipment (drill, shear, plasma, ironworker, etc.)
Ability to stage raw materials.
Ability to load and unload machines, crane, jib crane, etc.
Ability to verify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.
Ability to inspect and measure parts to ensure blueprint specifications are met.
Knowledge of personal protective equipment and safety devices.
Understanding of STW documentation and training techniques.
Willingness to be actively involved in Continuous Improvement, CI, 5S and STW activities.
Ability to contribute to a team effort.
Ability to maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate machinery within the Processing department with high quality and efficiency.
Stage raw materials at the work center for the day’s production.
Load and unload machines, crane, jib crane, etc.
Verify machine settings by measuring positions and first-run parts.
Inspect and measure parts to ensure blueprint specifications are met.
Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed).
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities.
Contribute to a team effort.
Maintain safe and clean workspace.
Other duties as assigned.
