About The Position
Associates in Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery is looking for an experienced OMS Surgical Assistant to join our clinical team at our Carefree location. If you're passionate about oral surgery, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering exceptional patient care, we want to meet you.
Requirements
- Prior OMS or surgical dental assisting experience preferred
- Availability Monday-Friday, 7:00am–5:30pm
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a high-paced surgical environment
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
- CPR/BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- Radiology certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Work chairside alongside the clinical team to assist in oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures
- Prepare and maintain operatories for surgical procedures
- Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols
- Monitor and assist with patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Support a smooth and efficient workflow across a 4-operatory practice
