Montshire Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team at our Dublin office. We are a family-owned practice serving nearly 30,000 children across New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Massachusetts. Requirements

Take dental radiographs, CBCT scans, photographs, and other diagnostic images following safety and positioning standards.
Communicate with patients and families in a warm, respectful, and developmentally appropriate manner.
Ability to assist efficiently during oral surgery procedures, including extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, and sedation cases.
Support patient monitoring and assist with nitrous oxide and IV sedation procedures under provider supervision and within certification guidelines.
Current CPR, PALS, and ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

Maintain operatory readiness by stocking surgical supplies, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with infection control and OSHA standards.
Bring forward ideas to improve surgical workflows, patient experience, safety practices, and clinical efficiency.
Assist the oral surgeon chairside during consultations, surgical procedures, and post-operative treatment, including extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, and related oral surgery procedures.
Prepare and set up surgical operatories, instruments, materials, implants, and surgical trays, including sterilization and organization of surgical instruments and equipment.
