About The Position
Spotsylvania Oral Surgery is a respected specialty practice serving the Spotsylvania community with a commitment to advanced surgical care and patient comfort. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence while providing a welcoming and supportive experience for every patient. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our established specialty practice one day per week on Mondays. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgeon looking to add a consistent day in a well-supported, referral-driven environment focused on clinical excellence and patient care. The Oral Surgeon will provide comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical services while collaborating closely with referring general dentists and specialists. This role offers a steady patient flow, modern technology, and a professional team dedicated to delivering high-quality surgical care.
Requirements
- DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school
- Certificate for an accredited US Oral Surgery Residency Program
- Active dental license in the state of practice
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and professional ethics
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including extractions, impacted wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and related surgical services
- Develop and present comprehensive treatment plans
- Educate patients on procedures, risks, benefits, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with referring providers to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to all regulatory standards
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience in a professional and compassionate environment
