About The Position
We are seeking an Oral Health Educator to promote oral health education across schools, skilled nursing facilities, early learning centers, and community settings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or certification in Dental Hygiene, Public Health, Education, or a related field.
- Experience providing health education, training, or community outreach.
- Knowledge of oral hygiene and preventive oral healthcare.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to create engaging and accessible educational materials.
Nice To Haves
- Public health, long-term care, school health, data management, or grant-writing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct oral health training and workshops for CNAs, school nurses, educators, families, and community partners.
- Develop easy-to-understand educational materials, guides, posters, and presentations.
- Support oral health outreach events, health fairs, and school programs.
- Work with healthcare, school, and community organizations.
- Provide guidance on oral hygiene and preventive oral healthcare.
- Assist with data collection, program evaluation, reporting, and grant-related activities.
