About The Position

This is a 12-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion, requiring the candidate to be a US Person or Permanent Resident. The role is based at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA, and is an onsite position with a 9/80 work schedule. The company offers W2 employment with full benefits. Customer and contract-specific training will be provided. The offer is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by work location, job-related skills, experience, and education.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience delivering two or more Common Inventory implementations as part of broader ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle eBS R12.13.x.
  • Deep functional and technical expertise in ODM, including Inventory and Oracle Master Scheduling/MRP.
  • Ability to map, fit, and enhance complex "As-Is" business processes into Oracle EBS standard functionality.
  • Expert-level knowledge of ODM/MRP including Inventory setup steps, profile options, and system parameters to optimize performance.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the ODM lifecycle: BOM, Inventory, WIP, MRP, Purchasing, and Costing.
  • Strong understanding of upstream and downstream integration points.
  • Strong technical skills: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Form personalization, custom.pll, and BI Publisher reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs.
  • Proficient with MS Office.

  • Experience with JIRA and GitHub.
  • Knowledge of Purchasing ASL functionality.
  • Experience with Mobile supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Lead ESA to review existing business requirements and gather new requirements from stakeholders.
  • Conduct fit-gap analyses and present options.
  • Map current-state and future-state business workflows.
  • Recommend Oracle configuration updates to optimize business processes.
  • Support ESA in implementing new features and/or system changes aligned with approved functional designs.
  • Troubleshoot application issues through resolution.
  • Log and manage Oracle Service Requests.
  • Create and update functional design documents, technical design documents, and process flows associated with configurations or approved customizations.
  • Develop scalable Oracle SQL/PLSQL code including procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
  • Update existing code to meet evolving requirements.
  • Tune and optimize queries for performance.
  • Build or retrofit interfaces, APIs, and data loaders.
  • Support custom extensions including Form Personalization and custom.pll.
  • Diagnose system bottlenecks, debug functional and technical issues, and apply fixes.
  • Support testing and user training activities.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by project team.
  • Provide bi-weekly status reports.
