About The Position

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Oracle Software Developer in Cape Canaveral, Florida, for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace and defense company. The role involves web and Oracle-based application development, combining front-end or full-stack work with Oracle database development and Python scripting. The developer will work in an Agile environment using collaboration tools such as JIRA and support secure programs requiring an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Requirements

• Full-stack or front-end web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
• Oracle software development experience, including developing packages, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and indexes.
• Oracle front-end development experience using Oracle Forms or Oracle APEX.
• Python programming experience.
• Experience with Agile development and collaboration tools such as JIRA.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Experience working with Parquet and time-series data design or storage.
• Experience with Digital Engineering, such as MBSE or Digital Twins.
• Experience with Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Experience with version control software.
• Strong project documentation and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support web-based applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
• Build and maintain Oracle database objects, including packages, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and indexes.
• Develop Oracle front-end solutions using Oracle Forms or Oracle APEX.
• Create and maintain Python scripts to support development and automation needs.
• Work within an Agile development environment and collaborate using JIRA.
• Support secure program requirements, including maintaining a Secret clearance and obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret clearance.
