About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Quality Engineer with experience in automation, performance testing, and Oracle Utilities. The role involves designing and executing automated regression suites, conducting performance tests for batch processes, managing test data, testing APIs and integrations, and defect management. You will be responsible for ensuring zero-defect deployments and validating system performance under high-volume conditions. This position requires a strong understanding of the full testing lifecycle, including SIT, UAT, and operational readiness testing.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of dedicated testing and performance engineering experience for Mid-Level roles.
• 8–15+ years of dedicated testing and performance engineering experience for Senior-Level roles.
• Direct experience in batch performance testing, batch cycle monitoring, and load testing on utility-scale datasets.
• Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, Java/Groovy.
• Proficiency in performance tools such as HP LoadRunner, LoadRunner Enterprise, JMeter.
• Strong SQL skills for test data creation, backend verification, and database state checking.
• Proven ability to write test plans, test cases, defect logs, and summary sign-off reports.
• Experience in Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Postman or SoapUI for API testing.

Responsibilities

• Automate regression suites using tools like Selenium, TestSigma, Cucumber, or JavaScript for core M2C and MDM scenarios.
• Design and execute batch load and stress tests using LoadRunner, JMeter, or Postman to identify bottlenecks and tune performance.
• Plan and execute test cases across SIT, UAT, Operational Readiness Testing, dress rehearsal, and post-deployment smoke testing.
• Prepare complex test datasets using SQL for CC&B/C2M/CCS databases and validate billing calculations, rate components, GL entries, To-Do creation, and meter read VEE statuses.
• Perform functional and performance testing on REST/SOAP APIs, middleware interfaces, and web services using SoapUI, Postman, or automated tools.
• Log, track, and manage defects in Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM/Quality Center, and verify fixes with development leads.
• Deliver clear SIT/UAT execution reports.
• Conduct Oracle Cloud release regression testing and environment validation.
