About The Position

Seeking an experienced Oracle OCI Cloud Engineer to design, manage, and optimize OCI-based database, middleware, and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will implement high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and secure cloud operations. Key responsibilities include database upgrades, RMAN-based backups, WebLogic administration, and collaboration with DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployments.

Requirements

• Hands-on OCI expertise with Oracle Database 19c/26ai, PDB/CDB, and DBaaS in OCI.
• Proficiency in Oracle APEX (18+).
• Proficiency in ORDS (22+).
• Proficiency in Oracle WebLogic Server.
• Proficiency in OEM 24ai.
• Strong Linux/Unix scripting skills.
• Experience with RMAN backup/recovery.
• Experience with DG/standby configurations.
• Experience with PSU patching.
• Experience with GitLab/Ansible for automation.
• Experience with containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture for high availability, DR, security best practices, and performance tuning.
• Willingness to work onsite 100% in Richmond, VA.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
