Oracle Fusion SCM Functional Lead

Regal•Knoxville, TN

About The Position

The Techno-Functional Lead, Oracle Fusion Supply Chain & Product Data is a senior role (Senior Consultant / Manager level) that combines functional leadership, solution architecture and design authority, and system administration for Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management, Product Information Management (Product Hub), the related General Ledger touchpoints, and reporting across both implementation and steady-state operation. As functional lead and solution architect, the role owns functional and configuration design for the assigned modules, makes design decisions within program standards, and ensures the SCM-to-GL accounting flow and the product and item data foundation are correct, controlled, and reconcilable. As administrator, the role owns ongoing configuration, quarterly Oracle release adoption, support environment and change management. The role is hands-on: it designs, configures, loads and validates data, builds reports, and resolves issues directly, while directing analysts, consultants, and System Integrator resources within the workstream. The role reports to the VP, Finance Transformation and Automation and partners with operations, procurement, the accounting and control teams, Technology, third-party providers, and the System Integrator. Deep platform architecture and custom integration development remain with Technology and the System Integrator.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Accounting/Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Multiple full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion implementations with design-authority or solution-architect responsibility for SCM (Inventory, Cost Management, Procurement) and Product Information Management / Product Hub.
  • Senior Consultant or Manager-level experience leading configuration design and administration for the assigned modules.
  • Working knowledge of inventory and cost accounting and the SCM-to-GL flow.
  • Experience with product and item data modeling and master data governance.
  • Hands-on administration experience: security and role design, configuration and change management, and quarterly Oracle release adoption and regression testing.
  • Experience with data conversion using FBDI and ADFDI and report build with OTBI and/or BI Publisher.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to direct analysts, consultants, and SI resources.
  • Ability to operate at both architecture/design and detailed, hands-on levels.

  • Oracle Cloud certifications in the assigned modules (Inventory, Cost Management, Product Hub/PIM, Procurement).
  • Experience integrating product data to POS and planning systems.
  • Experience with high-volume inventory (concessions/F&B or retail) and multi-location operations.
  • Experience with multi-country, multi-entity, and multi-currency deployments.

  • Review and approve relevant System Integrator design deliverables for business fit, compliance, and maintainability.
  • Maintain design documentation, configuration workbooks, and decision logs for the assigned modules.

  • Own quarterly Oracle release adoption: assess new features, plan and execute regression testing, and manage change impacts.
  • Support environment management, configuration migration, and change control across instances.
  • Provide production support for the assigned modules, manage Oracle service requests (SRs), and drive issue resolution and enhancements.
  • Configure inventory organizations, items, subinventories and locators, transaction types, purchasing, receiving, counts, and consumption, waste, and shrink processes.

  • Design the item and product data model, attributes, categories, and item classes.
  • Establish product data governance, new-item onboarding workflows, and rules for completeness and quality.
  • Configure publication and integration of product data to downstream systems (e.g., POS, planning, and reporting).
  • Define and validate SCM subledger accounting rules and inventory and COGS accounting to GL.
  • Support period-close reconciliation for inventory, cost, and COGS.
  • Lead conversion of item and product masters, on-hand balances, open purchase orders and receipts, and costs using FBDI and ADFDI; validate and reconcile.
  • Support integrations between SCM/PIM and source or third-party systems (POS, suppliers, planning) and validate end-to-end.
  • Build and execute SIT and UAT test scripts and drive defect resolution.
  • Build and maintain inventory, cost, COGS, and product-data reports using OTBI and BI Publisher.
