About The Position

CLS is seeking an Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) Functional Implementation Consultant to join their Human Resources department. This role will work closely with CLS's third-party implementation partner, internal business stakeholders, and project management teams to design, configure, test, and deploy Oracle Fusion HCM. The consultant will ensure the system meets the organization's HR needs, covering modules such as HCM Base, Recruiting Cloud Service, Talent & Performance, Workforce Compensation, Time and Labor, Absence, Learning Cloud Service, Human Resource Help Desk, and more. The position involves collaborating with HR and Technology teams, as well as external stakeholders and vendors, to gather requirements, define future state solutions, and enhance HR operational efficiency. The role also includes supporting Business Analyst teams, validating configurations, ensuring alignment with program principles, partnering with consultants for user support and training, generating reports, providing guidance on best practices, supporting data migration, and ensuring AI opportunities are understood and embedded.

Requirements

  • Highly experienced in HR systems & technology with strong functional knowledge of HR processes and practices – Big Four experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of HR processes.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and the ability to configure and customize HCM modules effectively.
  • Oracle security, access management and workflow experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for collaborating with various stakeholders and addressing their needs.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Ability to support multiple, high priority tasks and adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications in Oracle HCM are highly desirable and can enhance credibility in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with CLS's third-party implementation partner, internal business stakeholders and project management teams to design, configure, test and deploy Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management, based on functional business and phasing, ensuring the system meets the organization's HR needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with HR and Technology teams, and external stakeholders to gather requirements, define future state and implement effective solutions that enhance HR operations.
  • Collaborate with HR and Technology teams alongside external vendors to gather technical and operational requirements. You will help to define the future state and design scalable, effective solutions to enhance HR operational efficiency.
  • Support and collaborate with Business Analyst teams to analyze business processes and requirements, translating them into functional specifications for Oracle Fusion HCM.
  • Validate the configuration within Oracle meets these requirements.
  • Ensuring our end state configuration supports the program’s key principles, guardrails and target state operating model.
  • Partner with external consultants and internal stakeholders to design and provide ongoing support to users, conduct training sessions, and create user documentation to facilitate effective use of the HCM system.
  • Generate and maintain reports to meet the needs of HR management and other stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Provide guidance on common pitfalls and considerations to set the solution up for success.
  • Provide data migration support by analysing legacy systems and mapping datasets into Oracle ensuring data integrity and a seamless transition with minimal business disruption.
  • Ensuring opportunities for Artificial Intelligence are well understood by HR SMEs and embedded into the future state delivery plans.
