About The Position

Global Accounting Operations (GAO) is seeking a senior Oracle Fusion Financials Functional Lead to join the Finance Systems Services (FSS) group. This is a critical role for Finance, involving solution design for new projects, enhancements to existing functionality, and support for the current ERP Cloud instance. The role is based in Boston and is crucial for State Street's move to Cloud-based SAS tools, requiring business ownership, process knowledge, and the ability to support next-generation tools. The position aligns with Controllership, as ERP systems are integral to the Close process, internal and external reporting, and demand a blend of Accounting/Finance knowledge and systems expertise. Driving employee engagement and leveraging strong partnerships across Finance for timely communication and escalation are also essential. This role will be a key contributor to developing the target state operating model and best-in-class processes for the future of accounting.

Requirements

In depth understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP across all Financial modules
An in depth understanding of the Chart of Accounts and Hierarchies
In depth understanding of Oracle security model
Understanding or familiarity with RMC tool and Controls
Ability to work closely with audit teams and supporting internal and external system audits
Implementation and Design experience for large global implementations preferably for Financial Service companies
Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment and across multiple teams including Finance and IT
10+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry, Designing, Implementing and Supporting Industry Standard Finance Systems
Lead or Architect level experience and proficiency in designing and implementing Oracle ERP systems preferably for a large global financial services company

Nice To Haves

Bachelors in Accounting with a Masters in Accounting or Finance is preferred
