About The Position

This role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing reporting and analytics within an enterprise Oracle Fusion Cloud environment. The Oracle Fusion Cloud Reporting SME serves as a key functional and technical expert, partnering closely with Finance, Accounting, HR, and operations to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and analysis. The position plays a critical role in enhancing system functionality, improving data visibility, and supporting leadership decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Several years of Oracle ERP experience, including hands-on work in an enterprise environment.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation from planning through deployment.
  • Strong expertise in developing and maintaining Oracle Fusion Cloud reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Advanced experience using Smart View (formerly Hyperion Smart View) for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Proficiency with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), BI Publisher, Financial Reporting Studio, and other Oracle reporting tools.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and translate functional requirements into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to reporting issues, data integrity, and system behavior.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work directly with stakeholders and leadership to understand needs and present solutions.
  • Proven stakeholder management abilities, including requirement gathering, expectation setting, and ongoing collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Financials, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), Human Capital Management (HCM), or Supply Chain modules.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion data structures, reporting architecture, and how they support enterprise-wide analytics.
  • Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools to present complex information in an accessible format.
  • Prior consulting experience or enterprise-level Oracle Fusion implementation experience.
  • Oracle certifications in relevant technologies are a plus.
  • Demonstrated track record as the go-to Oracle Fusion expert in environments where reporting and data visibility are critical business needs.
  • Comfort working directly with leadership teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional and technical Subject Matter Expert for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications, with a primary focus on reporting and analytics.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle Fusion Cloud reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, HR, and operational stakeholders to gather detailed reporting requirements and deliver scalable, sustainable reporting solutions.
  • Use Smart View (formerly Hyperion Smart View) and related tools to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, data discrepancies, and system-related problems, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
  • Define, promote, and enforce best practices for report governance, data integrity, and reporting standards across the Oracle Fusion environment.
  • Support ongoing Oracle Fusion Cloud enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives, particularly as they relate to reporting and analytics.
  • Translate complex business requirements into robust technical reporting solutions using Oracle reporting tools and data structures.
  • Provide end-user support, including training, guidance, and documentation for reporting and analytics tools, to increase user adoption and self-service capabilities.
  • Assist with Oracle Fusion system implementations, configurations, testing, and post–go-live support, with a focus on reporting and data visibility.
  • Collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions that support strategic decision-making and performance management.
