About The Position

The Enterprise Application Solutions team within the Information Technology directorate is seeking a skilled Oracle Fusion Cloud Administrator (Senior Principal Applications Analyst). This role involves serving as a senior technical administrator for the organization’s Oracle Fusion Cloud Environments (Paas and SaaS), supporting ERP, HCM, SCM, and related Oracle Cloud services. The position also requires administering and supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and associated platform services, managing environments, ensuring security, and contributing to architectural strategy.

Requirements

  • Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field or equivalent computer-related experience with at least 12 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive IT experience in Oracle system administration.
  • 8+ years designing, implementing, and supporting large scale enterprise cloud solutions.
  • 5+ years specifically focused on Oracle Fusion Cloud Administration (ERP, HCM, SCM, etc.), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) architecture, integrations, and operation strategy.
  • Advanced experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, HCM, SCM).
  • Expert knowledge of OCI services including computer, networking, storage, IAM, security, monitoring, and database services.
  • Experience supporting large production environments with complex integrations, security requirements and compliance obligations.
  • Strong understanding of: Oracle Quarterly release management, Regression Testing processes, Pod management and refreshes, Environment lifecycle management, Enterprise change management.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ‘Identity, Credential, and Access Management,’ and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ‘Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors.’

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior technical administrator for the organization’s Oracle Fusion Cloud Environments (Paas and SaaS): supporting ERP, HCM, SCM and related Oracle Cloud services. Manage production and non-production environments, including configuration, provisioning, refresh coordination and updates, creating test accounts, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operational support.
  • Administer and support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and associated platform services, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), APEX apps and other supporting OCI services required by enterprise applications.
  • Administer and maintain identity and access controls across Oracle Fusion and OCI, including users, groups, roles, policies, security domains, privileged access, and least-privileged controls. Support integration with enterprise identity providers and SSO technologies such as Microsoft EntraID using SAML and related authentication protocols.
  • Design, configure, maintain, troubleshoot OCI networking supporting Oracle cloud services, including VCN’s, subnets, route tables, security lists, network security groups, gateways, DNS, VPN connectivity, Fast Connect, and connectivity between cloud and on-prem systems.
  • Support secure integration and data movement between Oracle Fusion Cloud, OCI/PaaS services, Oracle APEX custom applications. Collaborate with integration and application teams to diagnose connectivity, authentication, data transfer, and performance issues.
  • Monitor Oracle Fusion and underlying OCI services for availability, performance, capacity, security, and operational health. Investigate system issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), coordinate remediation, and implement improvements to increase reliability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security controls across Oracle Fusion and OCI environments. Coordinate vulnerability remediation, security patches, configuration changes, and Oracle provided updates to protect systems against known vulnerabilities and maintain approved security baselines.
  • Configure and support OCI security capabilities such as encryption, TLS, logging, auditing, and other security controls. Assist cybersecurity teams with security assessments, incident investigations, remediation efforts and continuous monitoring activities using SPLUNK or similar.
  • Maintain system configurations, access records, audit logs, technical documentation, and supporting evidence necessary to meet organizational, contractual, regulatory, and cybersecurity requirements. Participate in compliance assessments, control validation, risk remediation, and audit activities.
  • Provide Senior Principal level technical guidance for Oracle Fusion, OCI and related enterprise platforms. Evaluate architectural options, recommend improvements, and contribute to cloud migration, modernization, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and platform lifecycle strategies.
  • Design and maintain resilient Oracle Cloud Infrastructure supporting enterprise availability and recovery requirements. Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, capacity planning, backup/recovery and validation.
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administration and operational processes using scripting, APIs, and automation technologies. Develop repeatable processes that improve reliability, security, and administrative efficiency.
  • Administer and support Oracle Visual Builder Studio used for Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions and configuration management, including project setup, access and security, source control, build and deployment of pipelines, environment integration, and troubleshooting. Partner with development and functional teams to promote extensions and configuration changes through development, testing, and production environments in accordance with established change management practices
  • Serve as the Senior escalation point for complex Oracle Fusion, OCI, identity, integration, and cloud infrastructure issues. Lead technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis, and coordinate resolution across internal technical teams, vendors, and Oracle support.
  • Open, manage, and escalate Oracle Support Service Requests (SR’s) and work directly with Oracle technical resources to resolve defects, service interruptions, performance issues, and product related problems. Track issues through resolution and communicate technical status and risk to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, configuration documentation, operational procedures, runbooks, recovery procedures, and technical standards. Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to other systems administrators and fusion team members.
