About The Position

SAIC is looking for a Functional Analyst to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK at the FAA office. The candidate will primarily support Oracle Federal Financials E-Business Suite version R12, including modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Projects Accounting, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, and Federal Financials. The role also involves supporting other systems like OBIEE, Splash BI, and Prism. The analyst will need a good working knowledge of basic accounting, PRISM, and Oracle Financial applications, particularly in Accounts Payable, Purchasing, and General Ledger. A key responsibility is the ability to analyze customer financial requirements and integrate them into the Oracle financial application, as well as analyze problem areas and propose solutions. Working knowledge of Microsoft Software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Projects) is also required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and Zero (0) years of related experience is required. 4 years of relevant experience is accepted in lieu of degree.
• Basic understanding of Oracle Financials modules and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
• Good communication skills to work effectively with finance teams and technical staff.
• Ability to document support issues and processes clearly and thoroughly.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Software (i.e. Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Projects) is required.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of SQL Plus and Federal Accounting is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience supporting Oracle Financials or similar ERP financial modules is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of general accounting practices and financial reporting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support of Oracle Federal Financials E-Business Suite version R12 that includes but is not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Projects Accounting, Fixed Assets, Purchasing, and Federal Financials.
• Support other systems including OBIEE, Splash BI, and Prism.
• Analyze customer financial requirements and incorporate those requirements into the Oracle financial application.
• Analyze problem areas and propose feasible solutions.
