About The Position

Accenture's Oracle practice is seeking a senior Oracle Financials practitioner to lead the full functional workstream on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials transformations. This role involves solution design, go-live, and hypercare, leveraging expertise across the Oracle Financials suite to translate client requirements into scalable solutions. At the Senior Manager level, this position owns the Financials workstream end-to-end, leads a team of functional consultants, and acts as the primary functional authority for client finance leadership. The role focuses on shaping how finance functions operate, not just configuring Oracle.

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of Oracle Financials implementation experience.
At least 5 years leading the Financials functional workstream on Oracle Cloud ERP programs.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on configuration expertise across three or more Oracle Fusion Financials modules: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Advanced Collections.
Minimum of 5 years working with core finance and accounting processes: chart of accounts design, sub-ledger accounting (SLA), procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed asset lifecycle, period-close, and financial reconciliation.
Minimum of 4 years leading and managing teams of functional consultants.
Minimum of 4 years engaging and presenting with authority to CFO, Controller, and VP-level client stakeholders.
Minimum of 4 years working in a structured program delivery environment.
Minimum of 2 full-cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementations owned end-to-end.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience).

Nice To Haves

Hands-on expertise in Oracle Advanced Collections - strategy management, work queues, scoring, dunning, and integration with AR.
Experience with Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA) - journal line rule design, mapping sets, and multi-book accounting for complex enterprise structures.
Knowledge of Oracle Financials data migration tools - FBDI, ADFDI - and experience validating migrated financial balances and open items.
Experience delivering Oracle Financials in Accenture Edge / mid-market contexts.
Knowledge of AI-driven Finance automation and how Oracle Cloud natively enables these capabilities.
Experience with Oracle Financials reporting - OTBI, FRS, Smart View.
Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation certification.
CPA / CA designation and/or MBA.

Responsibilities

Lead the Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials workstream across the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery quality, timeline adherence, and client satisfaction.
Own solution design for GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Advanced Collections.
Facilitate executive-level requirements workshops and design sessions with client CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leadership.
Define and enforce functional configuration standards across the Financials workstream.
Partner with integration, data migration, reporting, and technical workstream leads to resolve cross-stream design dependencies.
Lead Oracle Financials data migration strategy, including scope definition, mapping rules validation, and sign-off on data quality.
Govern functional testing across SIT and UAT, including reviewing test scenarios, facilitating defect triage, and driving resolution.
Advise clients on Oracle Financials best practices and out-of-the-box capabilities, guiding them to adopt standard cloud processes.
Manage Financials workstream risks and issues proactively.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Oracle Financials functional consultants.
Support Accenture Edge business development by leading functional solutioning for mid-market Oracle Financials pursuits.
Contribute to Accenture's Oracle Financials asset library with reusable configuration templates, design accelerators, and process playbooks.
