As an Oracle consulting generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Oracle applications. You will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Oracle applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives. Meaningful work you’ll be part of: As an Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials) Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyze detailed finance and accounting processes to identify improvement opportunities in the following areas: Record to report: Close and consolidation; Internal and external reporting, general ledger/chart of accounts design, financial performance management Plan to analyze: budgeting and forecasting capabilities; Transactional processes: e.g. intercompany, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, etc; and, Maintenance and building of cost-effective controls. Simplify complex processes to improve reliability and achieve cost and cycle time reductions, as well as managing work streams of a complex project to implement improvements. Identify and address client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; managing engagements including preparing concise, accurate documents and balancing project economics management with the occurrence of unanticipated issues. Learn and perform in functional and technical capacities, which includes the following areas: System application implementations and software configurations Prior experience in Oracle Cloud implementations, other ERP experience, desired Produce deliverables within a diverse, fast paced environment, collaborating effectively across teams and juggling multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. Utilization of PC applications (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project), and business levels of fluency to capture effectively clients' needs and understand their systems enough to be able to translate those needs into system functionality.
