Oracle Finance Systems Analyst
About The Position
Mortenson is seeking two hands-on Oracle Finance Systems Analysts to support daily operations and ongoing enhancements to its Oracle Finance environment. This execution-oriented functional role works directly with Finance users and technical resources to troubleshoot issues, support business processes, test changes, and deliver system enhancements. It is not a Finance transformation, architecture, or solution-design position. The analyst provides functional support across Oracle Cloud Finance, especially AP, AR, Travel & Expense, and core Finance processes. The role also supports custom Finance applications and Finance-related ERP integrations, and may involve Oracle EPM depending on experience. The position is a contract role based in Golden Valley, Minnesota, and is fully remote. The stated pay range is $70.00–$85.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Ideally 5–10 years of relevant Oracle Finance experience.
- Ability to independently work through Finance system issues and enhancements.
- Experience or functional capability with Oracle Cloud Finance, AP, AR, Travel & Expense, and core Finance processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot Oracle Finance issues and support enhancements.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Oracle EPM.
- Experience supporting Oracle PPM, Oracle Fusion, General Ledger, Cash Management, Treasury, ERP integrations, Finance process improvement, and testing/UAT.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily functional support across Oracle Cloud Finance, particularly AP, AR, Travel & Expense, and core Finance processes.
- Investigate and resolve user, system, transaction, and process issues in the Oracle Finance environment.
- Support custom Finance applications for invoice processing, invoice coding, invoice search, and related workflows.
- Review Finance support requests, troubleshoot issues, and drive them through resolution.
- Create and manage Oracle Service Requests (SRs) when Oracle support is needed, including follow-up, testing, and validation.
- Execute functional configuration and system changes within established standards and processes.
- Document requirements for system fixes and incremental enhancements and work with development resources through completion.
- Perform functional and regression testing for enhancements, integrations, patches, and production fixes.
- Support Finance-related ERP integrations with other applications, troubleshooting transaction and data-flow issues.
- Assist with ongoing Finance system enhancements and application maintenance, with possible involvement in Oracle EPM.
