About The Position

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a highly experienced Oracle EPM Solution Architect to serve as the senior technical authority for its Oracle EPM platform. The role defines and governs end-to-end architecture, technical standards, integrations, and the platform roadmap across Oracle Planning (EPBCS), FCCS, EDMCS, ARCS, and Narrative Reporting. The architect provides technical leadership and delivery oversight for implementation and enhancement initiatives, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, high-performing, and aligned with enterprise standards.

The role works closely with Finance, IT, project teams, and implementation partners. Finance owns business processes and functional design, while IT is accountable for platform architecture, integrations, security, and operational excellence. The architect guides technical strategy, reviews solution designs, oversees integrations and data architecture, supports complex issue resolution, and drives governance practices for long-term platform stability and business value. Current US residency and current US Green Card or US citizenship are required.

Requirements

• Current US residency and current Green Card or US citizenship.
• 8+ years of Oracle EPM/Hyperion experience, including Oracle Cloud EPM solutions.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Technical Lead in enterprise EPM environments.
• Deep expertise in Oracle Planning (EPBCS), FCCS, and related Oracle EPM modules.
• Strong hands-on experience with metadata design, hierarchies, business rules, calculation scripts, and Groovy scripting.
• Expertise in EPM integrations, automation, APIs, EPM Automate, and enterprise data flows.
• Experience designing and governing EPM security models and application architecture, and optimizing performance.
• Strong understanding of FP&A, financial consolidation, close management, and financial reporting processes.
• Proven track record providing technical governance, delivery oversight, and quality assurance across large-scale EPM programs.
• Experience integrating Oracle EPM with ERP systems, data warehouses, and enterprise reporting platforms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
