About The Position

This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of reports, data conversions, and interfaces for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. The developer will also design and develop APIs for cloud, on-premises, and hybrid solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), specifically for OIC integrations on ERP Cloud. Key responsibilities include writing efficient, reusable, and stable code for complex application logic, developing and maintaining functional and technical design documentation, and troubleshooting incidents reported by end-users. This includes identifying defects, user errors, training issues, or data issues, and escalating when necessary. The role also requires scheduling system changes and discussing resolutions with end-users to ensure permanent solutions. Additionally, the developer will be responsible for opening, managing, and resolving Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills
• Experience in XML concepts
• Expertise in Core Java, JavaScript, and Java Webservice concepts (SOAP and REST)
• Excellent debugging skills
• Strong logical-reasoning capabilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an IT-related field or a related curriculum from an appropriately accredited institution
• Three years of progressive experience in programming and applications analysis including the design and maintenance of an integrated database system

Nice To Haves

• Functional understanding of Oracle fusion applications HCM (recruiting, training, payroll, compensation, and performance management) or ERP (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounting Hub, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, Procurement)
• Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) implementation experience with Oracle SaaS and 3rd Party Systems
• Knowledge of VBCS concepts to build custom applications for Oracle Fusion Cloud
• Experience in Oracle HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BI, OTBI reports or HCM conversions
• Experience in Oracle ERP FBDI templates and processes to load the FBDI templates into Oracle ERP
